Equipment: How We Get Heavy Machinery into Small Backyards Without Damage

The days of tearing down fences and driving massive dump trucks across your septic lines are over. Our infill methodology relies on high-tech, compact equipment designed specifically for tight residential access in cities like San Antonio, Austin, and Dallas.

1. The Power of "Micro" Excavators

Standard excavators are too wide for most suburban side yards. We utilize Micro and Mini Excavators that feature:

  • Retractable Tracks: These machines can literally "shrink" their footprint to under 39 inches to fit through a standard backyard gate.

  • Zero Tail-Swing: This allows the machine to rotate 360 degrees without the back end hitting your house or fence.

  • Hydraulic Breakers: Despite their size, they pack enough punch to shatter 12-inch reinforced concrete pool shells.

2. Ground Protection Mats (The "Temporary Road")

We never drive directly on your grass. Before the first machine enters, we lay down High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Ground Protection Mats.

  • Weight Distribution: These mats can support up to 120 tons, spreading the machine's weight across a broad surface area.

  • No Ruts, No Compaction: By using these "plastic roads," we prevent the deep tire ruts and soil compaction that usually kill grass and damage irrigation systems.

  • Cleanliness: They keep mud off your driveway and sidewalk, ensuring the neighborhood stays clean.

3. Plywood Buffers and Fence Protection

If a gate is just slightly too narrow, we don't just "bash through."

  • Surgical Fence Removal: Our crews are trained to carefully remove a single fence panel and its post, then reinstall it perfectly once the job is done.

  • Structure Shielding: We use plywood buffers to protect your siding, AC units, and windows from flying debris during the concrete breaking phase.

4. Compact Track Loaders vs. Wheels

For moving dirt in and out, we use Tracked Skid Steers instead of wheeled versions.

  • Low Ground Pressure: Tracks provide significantly lower "PSI" (pounds per square inch) on your soil than tires.

  • Maneuverability: They can turn on a dime in tight corners without "scuffing" the subsoil, making the final grading and landscaping much smoother.

The House Demo of TX Guarantee

We perform a pre-site walk-through to map out your irrigation heads, septic tanks, and "critical root zones" for trees. Our goal is to leave your backyard looking like the pool was never there—and like our machines were never there, either.
